Before you book
Your brows will change colour on the way out
This is the most important thing to understand before eyebrow SPMU removal, and it is the part most people are never told. Pigment does not simply fade from dark to nothing. It breaks down, and on the way out it can pass through colours first.

Some darker SPMU pigments can reveal warmer colours such as red, orange or yellow as the darker pigment breaks down. That is exactly why brow removal needs to be assessed and treated progressively, rather than assuming every pigment will respond the same way, and it is why the consultation and patch test comes first.

Many clients want old brow tattooing removed before having fresh microblading done. Once the pigment has been faded or removed and the skin has healed properly, you can speak to a qualified brow artist about a new shape and style.
I will be honest about where you are in the removal process and when it makes sense to take that next step. I would rather tell you to wait than send you off to have new brows over pigment that is still lifting.
Your first visit
A calm, clear start
Your first appointment is a £25 consultation and patch test. I will assess your brows, talk through your treatment plan and explain the colour changes you may see.
You then wait 48 hours after the patch test before your first full treatment. That gap is not admin: it is how we check your skin has reacted well before anything is done to your face.

There's no set number. It depends on the pigment used, how much pigment is in the skin, how deeply it was implanted and how your body responds to treatment. I'll give you a realistic idea of what to expect after assessing your brows.

Can you remove old or badly done microblading?
Yes. Laser can be used to remove or significantly lighten unwanted, faded, uneven or oversaturated eyebrow SPMU. Whether you want them completely removed or simply lightened before having new brows done, I'll assess them first and talk you through the best approach.

Does eyebrow SPMU removal hurt?
You'll feel the laser, but treatment is very quick because the area being treated is small. Cooling is used to make the treatment more manageable.

Yes. Some clients want their old SPMU completely removed, while others only need it lightened enough for their brow artist to create something new. How far we take the removal depends on what you're hoping to achieve.
