The consultation and patch test is £25. I'll assess your tattoo, talk through what you want to achieve, explain how the removal process works and what you can realistically expect. I'll then carry out a small patch test so we can see how your skin responds before going ahead with treatment.

Tattoo removal starts from £45 per session. The price is based mainly on the size of the tattoo, with the exact cost confirmed at your consultation once I've measured and assessed it.

It's impossible to give an exact number before assessing the tattoo. It depends on the ink, how deep it sits, the age of the tattoo, your skin and how efficiently your body clears the broken-down ink. At your consultation, I'll assess the tattoo and give you a realistic idea of what to expect, but I'll never promise you a set number of sessions.

I recommend leaving around 8 weeks between sessions. This gives the skin time to fully heal and allows your body time to continue clearing the broken down ink. More laser, more often, doesn't mean faster results. Giving your body enough time between treatments is an important part of the removal process.

Everyone experiences it differently. I usually describe it as hot fat spitting from a frying pan or a hot elastic band flicking against the skin. The good thing is, the laser treatment itself is quick. I use ice packs to cool the area before and after treatment, and for larger tattoos I can recommend a suitable numbing cream if needed.

Scarring from correctly performed laser tattoo removal is uncommon. The risk increases if the skin is overtreated, sessions are too close together or aftercare isn't followed properly. I leave around 8 weeks between sessions to give your skin time to fully heal before treating it again.

Yes. In fact, you may not need to completely remove the old tattoo first. Laser can be used to lighten the existing ink, giving your tattoo artist more freedom with the new design rather than having to work around a dark tattoo underneath.

During treatment you'll usually see a temporary white reaction known as frosting, which normally settles within 10 to 15 minutes. Redness and swelling afterwards are common. I'll explain exactly what to expect and how to look after the area after every session.

A carbon facial is a laser treatment designed to deeply cleanse and refresh the skin. A layer of carbon is applied to the face, which helps absorb oil, dirt and impurities before the laser is passed over the skin to remove the carbon and exfoliate the surface.

Carbon facials can help improve the appearance of oily or congested skin, enlarged pores, blackheads, uneven skin tone and texture, leaving the skin looking smoother, brighter and refreshed.

Most people find the treatment very comfortable. You'll feel some warmth and light snapping from the laser, but there's no downtime needed afterwards.

Your skin can look and feel fresher after your first treatment. Results can build with further treatments, which is why a course may be recommended depending on what you're looking to improve.
